How to add a custom gadget to Blogger

We add a custom gadget to enhance the look and feel of our blog. In the previous tutorial I explained how to create a custom navigation bar for your blog. In this tutorial I am going to explain how to add a custom gadget to your Blog. Follow the below step by step process:

Blogger

1. Open you Blogger dashboard and click on Layout option from left pane of the webpage.

2. Click on Add a Gadget (Highlighted in the above screen shot). A new Add a Gadget page opens up.

3. Add a HTML/JavaScript gadget by clicking on step 21. A new Configuration HTML/JavaScript page opens up.

4. Enter your gadget name in Title section and your HTML code in content section and click on save.

5. A new custom gadget is added to your blow.

6. Click on Template then Edit HTML. Search for ]]></b:skin> and paste your CSS Style code just above the ]]></b:skin>

7. Save template.
