Copy to Folder and Send to option requires when you take backup of your work frequently to a common location. You can add an option to context menu to directly move or copy your files and folders to the location in a single click. Follow the below step by step process in order add these options to your Windows context menu.
1. Add Send to Folder Option
Follow the below steps to add your custom shortcut of the common folder to Send to menu.
Step 1. Press Win+R and enter shell:sendto. A SendTo folder opens up.
Step 2. Right-click –> New –> Shortcut. Create shortcut Windows pops up.
Step 3. Enter the location of your folder where you want to copy your files.
Step 4. Click next and type a suitable name of the shortcut. Click finish.
Your folder location has been added. Just right click the file-> Sent to –> Your Location.
Add Copy to Folder Option
Step 1. Press Win+R and enter regedit and click ok to open registry editor. A pop will come asking for your permission to allow the program to make changes in your computer, Click Yes.
Step 2. Open the path HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AllFilesystemObjects\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers
Step 3. Right Click on ContextMenuHandlers and select New then Key. Enter a name of the key as Copy to.
Step 4. Double click the (default) on right pane of the windows and enter {C2FBB630-2971-11D1-A18C-00C04FD75D13} in value data field and then press OK.
Step 5. Right click on any file and folder and check Copy to folder option.
